What people like
This luxury hybrid mattress is designed with a focus on pressure relief and motion isolation, making it a viable option for those who prefer the feel of memory foam and a firmer-than-average support system. While it offers a stable, supportive sleeping surface that performs well for back sleepers and some side sleepers, reviews note that it can be lacking in edge support and cooling capabilities. Additionally, some assessments suggest that the performance does not always align with the premium price point, noting that users should be prepared for deep sinkage rather than a traditional "on-the-mattress" feel.
Pros
- Outstanding Pressure Relief: Users and testers frequently highlight how well the mattress cradles the body to alleviate pressure, particularly around the shoulders and hips.
- Motion Isolation: The construction effectively minimizes motion transfer, making it a strong choice for couples who do not want to be disturbed by a partner's movements.
- Targeted Support: The inclusion of a five-zone support system and individually wrapped coils provides stability and helps maintain proper spinal alignment.
Cons
- Limited Edge Support: Many reviews point out that the edges of the mattress lack the necessary reinforcement, which can make it feel unstable when sitting or sleeping near the perimeter.
- Performance vs Price: Some evaluations suggest that the mattress is priced higher than average, while its objective performance in key areas like cooling and responsiveness is considered modest.
- Cooling Efficiency: Although designed with cooling features, some testers found it fell short of expectations regarding temperature regulation.
- Deep Sinkage: The slow-moving, deep-foam feel is not ideal for those who prefer a more responsive or "on-top" surface, as it can be difficult for some sleepers to move around easily.
